((OOC: Wait, hold on, Is this multi-dimentional INCLUDING ours, or ooc for our forum and it alone? 'Cause Glyph being there confuses me.))
One of the women tapped her foot impatiently, waiting for whatever was going to happen to happen already. She came to party, not wait.

OOC: ... You're starting to sound like me, Mer. XD But I suppose multi-dimensional. It's not like this contributes to the plot or anything. XD
--- Glyph winced, giggled shakily again, and passed the DVD to the drummer, who promptly popped it into a conveniently-placed DVD player. The hedgehog darted offstage to find a good hiding spot as, almost immediately, the contents began to project onto the screen above the stage. Booming through the surround-sound came the first few notes, sounding almost country... until the drums and guitar decided to pick up, and the camera zoomed out to give the audience a picturesque over-the-shoulder view of a certain red echidna.
From the corner of the room, a familiar bat's yellow eyes widened in horrified recognition.
"Oh Chaos... She didn't..."

OOC: Ah, okay.
----
Many of the audience members blinked rapidly. The hell was going on...? Were they going to watch a music video or something? Why did no one tell them earlier?

"... over and over, over and over, I fall for you..."
Vesper's horror turned into pure mortification when the lyrics finally began to dribble over the speakers. The singing was horrid, and apparently had been recorded in the middle of the song, but no one seemed to mind that...
The helium-high seemed to hold most of their attention.
Glyph suddenly, appeared seemingly out of nowhere, next to him, sides heaving and shoulders shaking with muffled laughter. The singer--who, by some small mercy, still hadn't turned around to face the camera--continued on through the chorus, oblivious.
"Oh, Chaos, it's like he's auditioning to be the fourth Chipmunk!"

The audience gaped for a while. Some of them continued to gape. Some of them shook their heads, mortified and ashamed.
Many fell over laughing.
And somewhere, on the otherside of the world, and echidna with shattered pride was howling in rage.

Over at a table among the audience, William held his hands firmly over his ears with his against the table.
Dear, Order, please save my ears from this torture!

Glyph was one of those many. Clutching her sides, she threw her head up and laughed so hard that tears began to stream down her muzzle and pool on the floor.
Vesper, on the other hand, moaned and tried to hide behind his own ears. Some how, some way, this was going to be pinned on him.

Eventually, the torture/hilarity ended, the screen fading to black. Final giggles and groans were sent through the room.
One of the humans decided to clense everyone's ears. She scrambled onto the stage, ignoring her dear partner demon telling her not to. She walked up to the band, black braid trailing behind her, and began talking to them, planning a nice little performance for the dance club.

William removed his hands from his ears slowly, in case the music was still going on, and then looked up to find that the screen went dark.
Thank Order that THAT is over now. I wonder how the club is gonna follow that wonderful music video...

Glyph continued to cackle maniacally, blissfully unaware of how short her time left on the planet had suddenly become.
Vesper spared her a disparaging glance before turning back to the stage, crossing his arms at the sight of the human. Now what...?

The demon (not that anyone could tell that's what he was) partnered with the human walked up to the stage, but did not clamber on it like the girl. Maybe there was time to talk her out of--
She clasped her hands and grinned. "Perfect!" She trotted up and grabbed the mic.
Too late.
The white-haired boy sighed and turned away, bracing his heart for what was coming. The guitar and base began, drum following in soon after. She opened her mouth.
"What a shame we all became such fragile, broken things A memory remains just a tiny spark I give it all my oxygen, So let the flames begin So let the flames begin"
The audience's jaw collectively dropped again, this time in awe. She was...really damn good.
The demon no one could pick out tried to hold on to his sanity. It was bad enough she was wearing a tanktop and hiphuggers, he didn't need THIS telling him to grab her, too.

Vesper's eyebrows shot up, and his jaw nearly slid off his hand in surprise.
"Daaang, she's not half-bad." Glyph blinked, finally rising off the floor, "Way freakin' better than Knuckles' impression of a helium overdose."
The bat could only nod, and pick his jaw up from off the floor.

Like many other members of the audience, William was in shock from the woman's voice.
She must be some kind of angel. Her voice is so... heavenly.

At some point, everybody scrambled to start dancing like one would expect to a normal track in a club. This was not an oppertunity to waste.
The demon shut his eyes, trembled, and forced himself to stay put.
And still the song echoed.
"Somewhere weakness is our strength, And I'll die searching for it I can't let myself regret such selfishness My pain and all the trouble caused, No matter how long I believe that there's hope Buried beneath it all and Hiding beneath it all, and Growing beneath it all, and..."

The two Mobians remained where they were as well. One couldn't dance to save her life; the other would have died before even so much as glancing at the dance floor.
