-Right: Green

Muzzle: Solid white, like the rest of his fur. Somewhat long and pointed.
Face shape: Mineto has a thin face, but it's not anorexic.
Hands: His fingers are slightly longer than average. "All the better to flick you off with, my dear."
Feet: Average.
Tail: Solid white. It seems large and fluffy, but when water or large amounts of wind slicks the fur back, the tail is actually rather slender.
Describe his/her smile: His smile is slight and pleasant. It's a rare thing, but he does smile sometimes.
Expressions: When he is happy, Mineto might have a small smile, depending on the degree of happiness. His ears may be relaxed, tilting back ever so slightly and not quite so alert, or they might stand straighter than before. If you're lucky, his tail might even start wagging.
When angry, Mineto's ears may go straight back, flat against his head. His eyes narrow, and he may have the beginnings of a snarl on his lips. His fur may stand up, making him seem larger and more intimidating.
Fear looks much similar, sans the snarl and with his eyes open wide. He will often try to hide this by forcing himself to relax.
Depression can set in. When Mineto is sad, his ears and tail might droop, and he might look away from whoever might be near. If someone is near, he often tries to excuse himself and leave.
How does s/he dress: Mineto's typical casual wear is a black, white, or green sweater, a dark green scarf, purple gloves (sometimes), and black or white pants in the colder climates, and a black, green, or blue, V-necked T-shirt and blue jeans in the warmer climates. He wears black shoes.
His school uniform is a dark blue jacket over a white polo, coupled with dark blue pants. A blue ribbon signifying his grade is tied around his neck.
Describe his/her walk: Mineto is very well balanced, and tends not to trip. His gait is smooth and quiet.
Health: Decent. Somewhat sickly in very cold weather and when under emotional turmoil.
Hygiene: Washes regularly. Very clean.
Voice: Tenor. His voice tends to be quiet and smooth, though he can and will shout if he needs to or feels angry enough.
Describe his/her laugh: Depending on the laugh, it may be harsh and mocking or light and happy. Generally, the most one can get out of him is a small "heh".
Style (Elegant, shabby, etc): Casual. Not overly extravagant.
Physical Flaws: One blind eye.
The Disease: Only a few days after the death of his parents, Mineto's left eye went blind. There was no warning or other symptoms. The family he was living with at the moment took him to the doctor, who diagnosed him with a rare genetic disease that caused his half-blindness. The first stage kicked off with that. At first, aside from a few respiratory issues, his health was normal.
The second stage will be more brutal. Once his other eye goes out, the clock really starts ticking for Mineto. He will rapidly develop respiratory problems, and his immune system will gradually diminish. Asthma will develop, causing the need for an inhaler to be nearby at all times.
Stage three comes when he starts sleeping more, sometimes for multiple days. He may go full-out comatose as well. His immune system will continue to diminish slowly. In the worst-case scenario, he will develop narcolepsy.
At stage four, his respiratory problems will worsen and his immune system will collapse. Stage four spells the end to the carriers of this disease. Few carriers ever make it to this stage, however, as their already-weakened immune systems allow for other fatal diseases to take their lives.
Mineto's life expectancy is 35 years at best.
Abilities
Mineto has the ability to control his Shadow. A Shadow is one's soul given form. In its normal state, it rests as wings of varied shapes, sizes, and colors, all depending on personality. When one is utilizing one's Shadow for magic, that person's wings appear as faded images.
Spirit Shadows are the higher form of these wings and take more energy to summon. In order to even summon one, a person must use a specialized hilt with no blade and a button on the bottom. Pressing the button causes a burst of light to come from the hilt, which is completely harmless to the skin. However, it has the power to make a person transform into some sort of shadowy animal, depending on their personality.
Spirit Shadows are powerful, but can only use one attack per transformation, and it leaves the user rather tired. If a person is already tired or overly nervous, that person is unable to summon a Spirit Shadow.
In their normal state, a Shadow gives a person the power to use a certain magical element. This includes fire, ice, electricity, wind, light, dark, and physical. A physical affinity gives a person the ability to slightly enhance his or her physical abilities. Light and dark attacks have no true "element", and no one quite knows what exactly these things are.
Mineto's power is unique, however - he can change his Shadow at will. While this does give him control over multiple elements, he specializes in none, and it takes him time to change Shadows. As such, he tends to refrain from switching Shadows.
His favorite Shadow seems to be the dusky-blue-avian-winged griffin, which specializes in fire magic and uses minor dark spells.
APPEARANCE SUMMARY
Written as a part of a piece of fiction. Not the best I can do, but hey.
The wolf looked ghostly in the moonlight, with his pure white fur seeming to glow softly. Purple hair covered the top of his head, barely reaching past his muzzle, and was draped over his left eye. The other eye glistened a bright green. A deep green scarf fluttered slightly in the soft, cool breeze as Mineto watched the world around him, a solemn look on his thin face. His other clothes were casual, including a lighter green sweater, black pants, and black shoes. A long, soft, white tail curled around his legs and feet so that they were barely visible. . . .

Turn-ons: Stubbornness, strength, open-mindedness
Turn-offs: Closed-mindedness, one who easily gives up, extravagancy
Dominant or Submissive? Dominant
Emotional Characteristics
Describe character's sense of morals: There is never a good reason to kill someone. Giving up is the only "sin" he believes in. One should always stand up for one's friends.
Describe character's etiquette: Mineto's manners are generally good. When he was a child, manners were ground into his tiny little brain. Now he is always polite.
Describe characters sense of self-control: Mineto has high self-control. However, if he gets angry enough - like, say, someone is hurting one of his friends - he might get violent, first verbally, then physically.
How has this character most changed from childhood? When Mineto was a child, he was very happy-go-lucky, and was always ready to meet new people. Now he's much more cold toward strangers, and he often seems to get lost in his own thoughts.
How has s/he remained the same? He has always been kind at heart, and would pick a kitten up off the side of the street if he saw that it was in pain.
How does this character deal with or react to: [Assuming emotions are strong]
-Anger: Mineto will try to restrain himself, but he may begin verbally lashing out. If provoked enough, he will strike with physical blows.
-Sadness: When sad, Mineto will leave whoever he may be with and try to go off on his own for a while to think.
-Conflict/Danger: Mineto will take the lead of whatever group he may be in and try to get them out of danger. If alone, he will do what he can to get out of the conflict or danger without hurting himself or anyone else.
-Rejection: He knows when he isn't needed. If Mineto is rejected, he may feel a little down, but he will just nod and leave.
-Fear: Mineto tries not to allow his fear to show. If he is afraid, he will try to get rid of the source or, barring that, he will try to protect himself and his friends from whatever danger there may be.
-Change: Mineto can cope with change easily. He has gone through so much change, he has grown used to it.
-Loss: Loss, however, is not so easily coped with. Mineto will stay on his own for long periods of time, and he may push away others, depending on the degree of the loss. In the most severe cases, he actually acts as normal, though he may seem more hardworking than normal. He tries to distract himself in that way.
-Flirting: Mineto is completely and totally oblivious to flirting. Oddly enough, he is actually a real flirt when he wants to be (meaning rarely).
-Pain: He tries to smile through pain and appear strong. Naturally, that could be a downfall for him.
-Stress: Mineto will act perfectly normal for him, but he gets sudden insomnia, so he looks constantly tired when he is stressed.
-Peer pressure: He doesn't give a crap about what people want him to do if it's stupid.
-Guilt: See stress, add constant thoughts about whatever he is guilty about.
-Being wrong: "If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. No skin off my bones."
-Being criticized: If it is rational, Mineto will understand and possibly remember it. However, if he believes it is irrational, he doesn't even pay attention to the criticism.
-Praise: He shrugs it off.
-Love: Mineto may feel a bit awkward in a situation like this. He is unused to being loved, since his parents died while he was young, and no one had ever really cared about him as he was passed from family to family.
-Being hated: Mineto doesn't care. "I am who I am. If someone hates me, fine."
-Humiliation: If someone is trying to humiliate him on purpose, Mineto will not appreciate it. He may even try to get back at the person. If he is humiliated by his own fault, he may shrug it off, possibly nervously.
What does this character think/feel about:
-Marriage: "Too binding."
-Children: "Cute, but I'd never want one.
-Love: "I don't know what that is."
-Homosexuality: "Hey, if they like it, I say go for it!"
-The opposite gender: "We're all Mobian, right? So why is gender such a big deal?"
-Politics: "Sounds like a swear word."
-Religion: "I'm not sure what to think. It drives people to violence, but it also brings them together."
-Science: "It explains a lot, but now we need even more information."
-Drugs and alcohol: "That's for those people who give up their own self control."
-Killing/Murder: "No."
How does the character view life? Life should be cherished and lived to the fullest.
How does the character view death? The point of no return, where no one knows what lies ahead. It's best to prevent it.
How does the character view society? Society is weak. If some strong people should come along and reform it, it could be great.
What does the character want out of life? Whatever he can get. If he has to settle for a few friends and a happy few years of his life, he will take it.
What does this character consider "success" to be? Any day that isn't wasted.
Spiritual Characteristics
Religion: Agnostic
Does the character believe in a god or goddess? Unsure
What are the character's spiritual beliefs? "There might be something out there, there might not. Not like I'll ever know."
Is religion or spirituality an important part of this character's life? No
Superstitions: LOL SUPERSTITIONS.
Star sign: Cancer
Element: Water
Other
If you could compare this character to an existing character, who would s/he be and why? Rosette of Chrono Crusade. Rosette formed a contract with the demon called Chrono, limiting the time she would have left for her life in exchange for Chrono's power, which would help her find and rescue her brother. She knew she would be unable to live a long life, but she kept moving forward. Rosette always refused to give up.
Mineto is mostly the same way. The biggest difference is in the fact that Rosette had a choice, and Mineto didn't. Either way, both are doomed to die an early death... And they're stubborn as mules.
What song best fits this character? "I Walk Beside You" -Dream Theater
It's not the best, but I got nothing else. I'd like suggestions for this one!
If you could choose a voice actor for this character, who would it be? As of now, I haven't found the right person for it.
Who/what was your character inspired by? Persona 3. There are very, very distinct similarities between the main character of P3 and Mineto. He is his own character, however.
Additional Notes: Mineto is the first of several characters appearing in a book I'm writing, titled Shadows of One's Self. He is the protagonist, and the book is written in first-person from his viewpoint. In other words, this will be the first time I've ever written in third-person with him.

How does s/he treat members of the opposite gender? He treats females the same way he treats males, albeit a little more gently and with a little more caution.
What do family/friends like most about character? His friends are glad for the fact that he has a good leadership ability, as well as the ability to get their spirits up.
What do family/friends like least about character? Sometimes his stubbornness can get to be too much, and some think that he is a little too cold toward strangers.

What does s/he consider to be a romantic setting/activity/date? Something simple. Whatever works. "I'm not picky." (Translation: "I don't care.")
Turn-ons: Stubbornness, strength, open-mindedness
Turn-offs: Closed-mindedness, one who easily gives up, extravagancy

Other
If you could compare this character to an existing character, who would s/he be and why?
