With the death of the president and the silencing of G.U.N., Metal Sonic has dealt a horrible blow to the East Coast. Station Square is being flooded with refugees running from the north, and the trains are full to bursting with terrified travelers. New Westopolis has been hit hard, and Central City has been overrun with his robotic assassins, sending the entire city--or what's left of it--on lock down as the Overlord plots his next move...
Just some things to think about while you guys are RPing in these boards.
No characters will be killed or Roboticized without the express permission from the owner of those characters. However, characters can be injured and captured, especially if any knowledge they gain in the RP could put some of the organizations' goals at jeopardy.
(What? Do you really think a cult or a group of rebels would risk letting someone with too much information about them get away without a fight? )
- Central City:
Get Out Alive - Central City has fallen--of that, there is no doubt. The government is gone, replaced by the cold hard steel and cruel laser blasts of Metal Sonic's merciless army. Robots roam the streets in great battalions, and firefights interrupt the dark of night, every night, with explosions and walls of flame. The only hope for survival is escape--an escape made almost impossible by, if rumor holds true, a fanatical cult of supporters for the Overlord, and the hordes of sentries blocking every exit to the city...
Or are they?
Don't Talk to Strangers - That crazy cult of anarchists and lunatics? Yeah. Avoid them. Rumor has it that they've taken to capturing wayward refugees and offering them to Metal Sonic. Rumor also has it that they've captured some very important rebels--people who might know how all of this started, and how it will end--perhaps weaknesses in Metal Sonic's defenses?
Of course, they're probably just rumors... - New Westopolis:
Take Back the Streets! - Without Metal Sonic's presence a constant threat, the robots swarming Westopolis aren't nearly as ferocious or as well organized as those in Central--instead, they're prone to more bouts of erratic behavior than their eastern kin, leaving them more vulnerable to organized assaults by rebellious groups that keep popping up all over the city.
Snake in the Grass - With the long arm of the law preoccupied with slightly more pressing issues, Westopolis' crime rate has risen dramatically, much in part due to the growing boldness of the city's current crime lord. Regis, head honcho of the notorious Breaker crime ring, has emerged from the shadows to wreak his own havoc on the crippled city--but what are his ulterior goals, and what will happen when he reaches them?
Probably nothing you want to find out. - Station Square:
Fish in a Barrel - Hundreds of people are flocking south, mostly refugees from towns in the plains, but also the lucky souls who managed to escape the burning cities of the north. However, resources are growing scarce--the hospital waiting rooms are filled--and, worst of all, bad weather's brewing out on the ocean. People are scared. People are panicking. For some reason, the crew sent to figure out why the trains have stopped running has never returned.
Maybe someone should figure out what's going on?
Caught in the Shadows - People are disappearing. It started gradually--maybe once every few months, someone would never return from a short outing to the store, or a dog would be found dragging its owner-less leash through the park. In the past few weeks, though, the disappearances have picked up dramatically. Always, the case is the same--no signs of struggle, no blood, no motive. With refugees pouring into the city, news of the missing persons is spreading like wildfire. The police have no leads; in fact, several of their own haven't been to work in the past few days. With the authorities in chaos, everyone wants to know: Who's going to disappear next?
